Potter / Amseco PAD 100-TRTI PAD 100 TWO RELAY /TWO INPUT
When watching two Class B circuits or one Class A circuit, the PAD100-TRTI only requires one SLC loop address. Additionally, the PAD100-TRTI offers two (2) Form C relay contacts. The module can be mounted on a twin gang box or a 4" square. The module is able to keep an eye on two (2) different Class B circuits, making it the perfect tool for keeping an eye on valve tamper switches and sprinkler waterflow when they are close together. One red LED is present on the PAD100-TRTI to signal the state of the module. When the device is being polled by the control panel, the LED flashes normally. The LED will rapidly flash when an input is activated.
Application
The addressable fire alarm control panels from Potter's IPA and AFC/ARC series are compatible with the PAD100-TRTI. An interface module called the PAD100-TRTI is used to monitor dry contact devices like sprinkler waterflow, valve tamper switches, or standard pull stations. The module may keep an eye on either two distinct Class B circuits or a single Class A circuit. Additionally, the PAD100-TRTI offers two (2) form C relay contacts.
Addressing the Issue
An address must be given to each addressable SLC device. The DIP switch on the PAD100-TRTI is used to change the address. Each input and relay on the He PAD100- TRTI is designated as a sub-point of the single module address that is assigned to the device. For instance, if the address number is allocated as "8," the B1 input will be "8.3," the B2 input will be "8.4", the RLY1 relay will be "8.1," the RLY2 relay will be "8.2," and so on.
To avoid potential harm to the panel or device, take the following measures before attaching a device to the SLC loop:
1. The device's power is turned off.
2. Correct field electrical installation.
3. No open or short circuits exist in the field wiring.
