Long-length VGA cabling is expensive.  Why use it if there's a lower-cost alternative?

With a 350 foot transmission distance at 800 x 600 resolution over inexpensive Ethernet cable, the 500040 is the answer to your financial woes.  Plugs directly into a PC tower, laptop, or similar device.  Includes a reset button to meet the demands of specific displays.  Commonly used in boardroom systems, classroom video instruction, and custom AV systems.

The MUXLAB-500040 is a PC-side VGA Balun with an HD15 Plug used to connect a VGA source to a VGA monitor using inexpensive Ethernet cable.

Instead of wasting money and space on overpriced, oversized coaxial cable, the 500040 lets users construct a much more affordable and versatile Ethernet cabling infrastructure. This balun is outfitted with a reset button when connecting to certain displays, and it can transmit 800 x 600 resolution video up to 350 feet.

Often used in pairs, the 500040 is great for digital signage, boardroom systems, classroom video instruction, and custom audio-video systems.
