Adams Rite Electric Strike 24VDC Fail Secure with Dark Bronze Anodized Faceplate, part number 7100-510-313

The 4-7/8" Electric Strike from the 7100 series "Faceplates are made specifically for Adams Rite deadlatches or cylindrical locksets with latchbolt projections ranging from 1/2" to 5/8". It offers remote electrical control of any door fitted with an Adams Rite Deadlatch or cylindrical (key-in-knob/lever) lockset with 1/2" to 5/8" latchbolt projection from the 4500, 4700, or 4900 Series (or a comparable model). Here, the strike jaw is unlocked by electrical actuation, releasing the latchbolt and allowing the door to be opened without actuating the latch itself. The incredibly small mechanism of the Adams Rite 7100 series glides into aluminum jamb (or opposing door) portions as shallow as 1-5/8 ". It readily fits the setup for the 7000, 7500, and 7800 series Adams Rite electric strikes that are no longer manufactured.

Designed for use with Adams Rite deadlatches or cylindrical locksets with latchbolt projections ranging from 1/2" [12.7 mm] to 5/8" [15.9 mm]. for use in applications involving wood, hollow metal, or aluminum.

Function: Remote electrical control of any door fitted with an Adams Rite Deadlatch 4500, 4700 (discontinued), or 4900, or a cylindrical lockset with a latchbolt projection of 1/2" [12.7 mm] to 5/8" [15.9 mm]. In order to open the door without using the latch itself, electrical activation unlocks the keeper and releases the latchbolt.

Certifications: Listed to UL 294 (6th Edition) and UL 1034 for burglary resistance

Case measures 1" by 3-3/8" by 1-5/8" deep (25.4 mm by 85.7 mm by 41.3 mm).

Strike Opening: 15.9 mm x 36.5 mm x 12.7 mm deep, or 5/8" x 1-7/16" x 1/2". Stainless steel serves as the bolt retainer keeper. Any cylindrical latch or deadlatch from the Adams Rite 4500, 4700 (discontinued), or 4900 series can be used with the strike.

Basic strike has a lip that is the right length for a door that is 1-3/4" [44.5 mm] thick and shuts flush with the jamb edge. There are lip extension kits available, identified by the last dash number, if door thickness or jamb form deviates from this typical relationship.
Kits for lip extensions are not offered on the 7101 or 7131.

1/2" to 5/8" [12.7 mm to 15.9 mm] Latchbolt Projection

Faceplate: A range of architectural treatments are available.

Available with two Form 'C' monitoring switches to show whether the strike jaw is blocked and whether the latchbolt is engaged in the strike. Inaccessible on the 7130, 7131, and 7140.
Lip extension kits, only for flat faceplates, for varying door centerline to jamb edge dimensions. No longer accessible on 7101 or 7131.
Modular Packaging: To create an entire electric strike, combine a strike body kit with a strike faceplate kit. All the hardware needed to mount an electric strike is included in faceplate kits. For information, please speak with a sales representative or the factory.
