Securitron has a great offering of Electromechanical Locks & Accessories. The GL1 2,000 lbs. Holding Force Gate Lock is one of the most popular gate solutions available on the market. The FMK Flex Mount Gate Lock Bracket Kit's are for use with the M62FG-SASM, and the GL1. The MM15 Mechanical/Electromagnetic lock has two spring loaded, hardened steel jaws. The EEB2 2" Square Emergency Exit Button is one of the best selling exit buttons on the market - there are other EEB Emergency Exit buttons as well. The XMS Exit Motion sensor is a passive infrared request to exit device. The PB push buttons include interchangeable green and red buttons, while the PB2 provides for the addition of blue ADA lenses. When it comes to Access Control accessories, Securitron has a vast assortment of products. This quick glossary will help you choose your accessories:
SPST (Single Pole - Single Throw): Switches that have one input and one output (NO or NC) and turn on or off in response to the switch action.
SPDT (Single Pole - Double Throw): Switches with one input and two outputs. When the switch operation occurs, the connection shifts from output A to output B.
DPST (Double Pole - Single Throw): Two SPST switches that operate in tandem using one switch operation so that two outputs turn on or off simultaneously in reaction to the switch operation.
DPDT (Double Pole - Double Throw): Two SPDT switches that operate in tandem using one switch operation so that each connection shifts simultaneously from its primary output to its secondary output.
Momentary Switch: A momentary switch changes state during activation and reverts to its original state upon deactivation, A doorbell is a typical example of a momentary switch. A timer can be used to extend the effect of the switch operation for a specific amount of time.
Alternate Switch: An alternate switch changes state upon activation and does not change back until reactivated. A light switch is a typical example of an alternate switch. Alternate switches are also called maintained or latching switches.
NO (Normally Open Contacts): A normally open contact provides an open circuit where no current is flowing in its usual state. Wired in Parallel for Fail Secure type electric locks. (i.e., Electric Strikes) Activating any switch will apply power releasing the lock.
NC (Normally Closed Contacts): A normally closed contact provides a closed circuit where current is flowing in its usual state. Wired in Series for fail-safe type electric locks (i.e., Securitron Magnalocks) Activating any switch will break power releasing the lock.
Once you know which options you require for your application, you can select your accessory. For example, if you needed a Single Gang, Tubular Key, SPDT Key Switch, you would choose the KP1 Tubular Keyswitch (manufacturer link). IF you needed a Narrow Stile, Momentary, SPDT Key Switch you would go with the MKN, which is one of the MK Mortise Key Switches. There are Door Position Switches, Door Prop Alarms, Maximum Security Switches, Latch Monitors, Relay Logic Packs, Relay Boards, Timers (TM-2, TM-9, DT-7, XDT), Piezo Sounders (PZ1), and Cover Plates.
They come with a battery charger and are UL listed. You can select from the BPS-12/24-1, BPS, BPSM, and BPSS lines. Within Switching Power Supplies you can choose from the AQD, AQM, and AQU lines. These are great for use in locks, door closers, strikes, readers, and other access control devices.

Securitron, the manufacturer, is often confused with the Fallout character PDQ-88b Securitron.
Securitron manufactures top quality gate locks for heavy duty perimeter entrance security. Securitron gate locks are created specifically with high-security applications in mind. When there is an emergency, exit devices are the life savers. Securitron products understand the importance of the code-compliant openings so that an exit from an emergency situation can be done smoothly. The different products are separated by their features. Such as being waterproof is a feature that only the PB and PBA would have. These two products are both single gang, with green and red buttons and illuminated with a DPST. What makes them different is the PB has a momentary feature, while the PBA has an alternate feature. PB2 and PB22 are very similar as well, both are single gang with green, red and blue buttons, both illuminated and momentary, but the PB2 has SPDT and the PB22 has DPDT. Product Features
The XMS is an exit motion sensor, which is versatile for hands-free exit requests. When approaching the motion sensor, it will reliably detect motion nearby and release the magnetic lock on the door. It's explicitly designed to release that lock from the inside for free egress. The XMS is fail safe, so if power is cut to the detector, the magnetic lock will safely release. A relay is present to send a REX (request to exit) signal to an access control system and shunt an alarm report. Control of the exit detection pattern, which is easily adjustable will allow for maximum security from the outside and avoidance of activation from the inside when not desired. Note that it is recommended to have an emergency exit button to be used in conjunction with the XMS to meet applicable building codes. It’s UL listed and comes with the MagnaCare lifetime replacement, no fault warranty.

Product Features
EEB is the emergency exit button, which is a backup to ensure safe egress. The exit device is installed next to the door to provide additional safety as required by code when using a motion detector. When pressing the button, it will release the door for 30 seconds. If pressed again during the 30-second lock release period, the unit will “retrigger” which will start a new 30-second lock release period. This is intended only for the release of a magnetic lock from the inside of a door. It operates on 12 or 24 VDC and includes switchable green, red and blue lenses. Note the red and white wires from the EEB2/3N must receive the voltage from the same power supply.

There are several models of the EEB; there is the EEB2 (EEB w/30 Sec. Timer – SG, Green/Red/Handicap), then there is the EEB3N (EEB w/ 30 Sec. Timer – Narrow Stile, Green/Red). High-quality push buttons are available in a wide selection of colors, sizes, switch types and outputs. They can release any maglock, alone or with door closers and other hardware. The model PB is a spring loaded exit button with multi-color illumination, mounted on a stainless steel single gang outlet box cover. It is also waterproof NEMA 4 rated which makes it safe for the outdoors, and for the push buttons that are not waterproof, there is always the WCC and WBB available for all single gang push buttons, key switches, and keypads. The PB comes with switchable green and red buttons, a Red LED on the plate, and 7 Amp rated contacts.

There are only two models with the PB series, one is their standard issue of PB (Momentary, SG, DPST, and Illuminated w/ Red/Green Lens) and PBA which is the same thing, except instead of momentary, it’s alternate.

Product Features
The model PB2 is a spring loaded momentary exit button, which is mounted on a stainless steel box cover. Included are switchable lenses that come in green, red and blue. While the PB series had a medium round button, the PB2 comes with a large square with easy to read text. It comes with different options, to be illuminated, single or double pole, and a red LED on the plate. The most common applications for this exit device are release of a fail-safe or secure electric lock. The other most common use is a timed release of a fail-safe electric lock using the PB2’s TimeMate. To make this weatherproof, the WCC and WBB are available for all push buttons, key switches, and keypads.

Product Features
The model PB3 is a spring loaded momentary exit button, which is mounted on a stainless steel box cover. It has bi-color illumination. The red and green lamps can be individually operated according to the installation needs. The red lamp is an LED that is mounted above the button, and the green lamp is an LED which illuminates the button itself. It also has the ability to change from DPST to DPDT when it comes to the field. If you wish for it to be weatherproof, there is the WCC and WBB options for the buttons, key switches, and keypads. At a size of 4.5” x 2.75” (114mm x 70mm) or 4.5” x 1.75” (114mm x 44mm) depending on the plate, this device can fit in the smallest of places for your convenience.

There are many different models for the PB3, such as its standard model, the PB3 (PB – Momentary, Single Gang, Illuminated, Green/Red Lens), then there is the PB3A (PB – Alternate, Single Gang, Green/Red Lens), the PB3AN (PB – Alternate, Narrow, Green/Red Lens). The key feature of the PB4L series is that it is an all steel unit specially designed to resist vandalism. It cannot be removed or tampered with from the outside and designed to resist shocks such as hammer blows. Otherwise, this illuminated exit button can be used for quick release of fail-safe or secure electric locks. The illumination comes in a bi-color LED of red or green.
